Phoenix Speakers has a new home!

We have found ourselves a gorgeous new venue, The Star Tavern 6 Belgrave Mews West, Belgravia, SW1X 8HT (see map).
It is a gorgeous old world style pub with a beautiful room for us upstairs.

The Star is about a 10-12 minute walk from Victoria Station or a 7 minute walk from either Knightsbridge and Sloane Square stations.
Apparently it is famous for three things:

  1. The Great Train Robbery at Linslade was hatched here
  2. Featured in the Profumo / Keeler affair
  3. It was the Evening Standard pub of the year 1992.

I think it’s a perfect venue for us and I am really excited to get started there. So I look forward to seeing you all there on April 13th for a 7pm start as per usual!
